Gräfelfing/Munich, March 26, 2008. The Managing Board of mwb
Wertpapierhandelsbank AG decided today, as authorized by the general
shareholders' meeting held on July 26, 2007, to purchase within the next
three months up to 11,952 additional shares in the company, which is
equivalent to 0.24% of the company's share capital.

The repurchase will take place over the stock exchange. In accordance with
the authorization, the amount paid by the company for the shares may not be
more than 10% above or below the average of the market price of the shares
at the closing of XETRA trading on the five trading days preceding the
purchase.
