Gräfelfing/Munich (April 25, 2007) - The Supervisory Board of mwb
Wertpapierhandelsbank AG adopted mwb AG's annual financial statements (HGB)
in its meeting today. According to these financial statements, the company
recorded net income (HGB) totalling EUR 2,860 thousand in fiscal year 2006
as compared to EUR 1,060 thousand in the previous year. The consolidated
financial statements (IFRS) approved by the Supervisory Board include net
income totalling EUR 2,859 thousand after taxes and minority interests in
net income (previous year: EUR 941 thousand). The Managing and Supervisory
Boards will thus propose to the general shareholders' meeting on July 26,
2007 that a dividend of EUR 0.36 is disbursed for each participating share
from the unappropriated profit for fiscal year 2006 totalling EUR 3,202
thousand (previous year: EUR 1,320 thousand). By allowing shareholders to
participate in the results to an extent equal to the company's development
is a clear expression of the dividend policy followed by mwb AG - the
safeguarding of both the investors' and the company's interests.
