DGAP-News: mwb Wertpapierhandelsbank AG expands its Managing and Supervisory Boards

Graefelfing/Munich, July 29, 2008. At a meeting yesterday following the
general shareholders' meeting, the Supervisory Board of mwb
Wertpapierhandelsbank AG appointed the former members of the management
board of FAIRTRADE FINANCE AG, Mr Christian Kalischer and Mr Detlef Lübbe,
to the Managing Board of mwb Wertpapierhandelsbank AG as additional members
with immediate effect.
Yesterday in the general shareholders' meeting the present Supervisory
Board comprised of Dr. Ottheinz Jung-Senssfelder, Mr Thomas Mayrhofer, and
Mr Michael Wilhelm was re-elected and was augmented by Dr. Thomas
Ledermann, Mr Uwe Didwischus, and Mr Hagen-Christian Kümmel, now giving it
a total of six members. Dr. Thomas Ledermann is member of the management
board of the Hamburg-based BÖAG Börsen AG, Mr Uwe Didwischus is head of
corporate services at the Norddeutsche Landesbank, and Mr Hagen-Christian
Kümmel is head of securities trading at the Hamburger Sparkasse. The
expansion of the Managing and Supervisory Boards is consistent with the
merger of two partners of equal strength, mwb Wertpapierhandelsbank AG and
FAIRTRADE FINANCE AG. It is simultaneously an expression of mwb's
strategical mindset, the generation of perceptible added value for the
company.
The general shareholders' meeting also resolved to change the company's
name. Once registration in the commercial registry is complete, the company
will operate in future under the name 'mwb fairtrade Wertpapierhandelsbank
AG'.
