Gräfeling/Munich, February 10, 2006 - As of today's date, MWB
Wertpapierhandelshaus AG has acquired a 100% interest in C.J. Diederich
Wertpapierhandelsgesellschaft mbH retroactive to January 1, 2006.

MWB AG's Managing Board regards the acquisition of the Berlin-based bond
specialist as the successful entrance into the fixed-income securities
business. The intention is to expand these activities gradually.
